Well, when I first saw this cel I thought it was a great picture of a cat for this section of my gallery. Now that I’ve seen the show, I realize I was a little off. This is Leki, who is supposed to be a son of Deep Dragon (which in turn is supposed to resemble a dog). OK, I’m a small animal veterinarian and I can’t tell a cat cel from a dog cel. I keep looking at it and see cat. Even in the show, the sounds he makes are more like a cat than any dog I’ve heard. Finally, from an anatomical point of view, if he’s a male dog, he’s missing some important hardware (in the show-obviously not visible in this particular cel). In this gallery, I’m offically declaring him a feline. This cel occurs when Orphen and Majic are arm wrestling. Both Leki and Cleao are watching the action.
