When I received the package containing backgrounds from all three Inu Yasha movies, it was a completely unorganized. It took a lot of work to try to figure out what was what. This background was no exception. If it wasn’t for the matching artboard, I would never have realized that what appeared to be two separate backgrounds was in fact two layers from the same scene. The lower layer is normal-sized and shown on the left. The upper layer is pan-sized and shown on the right. Though it is hard to see in the scan of the sketch, the lower layer is drawn in blue pencil and the upper layer in brown.

Like many backgrounds from this lot, I have not been able to find a matching screen capture. I can only assume that it was edited out somewhere along the production process or I am not looking hard enough.
