I thought I was done collecting cels of D, but I could not say no to this cel. In a way, this cel is a hanken, because not only did it get used for the movie, it was also used for promoting it as well. As far as I can see it was used twice. It was used by Suncoast to make a type of reproduction cel called a cybercene cel. It was also used to make postcards that were signed by director Yoshiaki Kawajiri and character designer Yutaka Minowa. I have been lucky enough to be able to buy the items that several of my other hankens were used to make. Hopefully, I will be able to track down one or both of these items someday.

Well that was quick. Before this cel is even posted in my new arrivals section, I was able to track down and get one of the cybercene cels. Now I feel excited that maybe I will someday find the postcard too.
